Our 7 Favorite Natural Skin Care Ingredients (and why they're oh-so amazing)

So here's the scoop. I spend a lot of time talking about the stuff we're not supposed to slather on our skin.  And while it's important that you know what to look for and how to ditch the poison, you also need to know what some of the healthy alternatives are. Well lemme tell ya, these seven lifesavers are nothing short of phenomenal. We use these ingredients in so many of our products -  not just because they are safe, but because they work amazingly well! Here's what we love the most and why:

Coconut Oil- Superb moisturizer with anti-aging properties. Promotes cellular health and tissue repair. Anti-microbial with mild SPF.

Beeswax- Fantastic skin conditioner and natural humectant (attracts/holds moisture). Soothes itchy skin and creates a protective, non-clogging barrier.

Shea Butter- One of the richest moisturizers youโ€™ll ever find. Soothes rashes, eczema, and skin cracks. Repairs skin damage from heat and burns.

Rosehip Seed Oil- The ultimate anti-aging ingredient. Corrects UV damage, reduces scars, burns, and stretch marks. Treats fine lines, wrinkles, eczema, and psoriasis. Evens skin tone and pigmentation.

Lavender Essential Oil- Reduces anxiety and stress and improves sleep. Speeds up the healing of wounds, cuts, burns, and sunburns. Helps treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other inflammatory conditions. Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and contains anti-aging properties.

Cedarwood Essential Oil- Enhances mood and improves focus. Natural deodorizer. Fights acne. Anti-fungal with anti-septic properties. Heals dry scalp, reduces skin irritations, and treats eczema. Also acts as a bug repellant.

Bergamot Essential Oil- Acts as a natural cleanser and deodorant. Heals scars. Kills bacteria. Enhances mood and relieves stress.
